Level: 18+ Beginner-intermediate
Basic knowledge on tools and glass cutting techniques required. No exceptions. If you are a complete beginner please consider joining our beginner stained glass workshops. If you are unsure if this is suitable for you please feel free to contact us!

Come in anytime during our open hours for studio hours. No need to call ahead or schedule a time! 

This is designed for those who have some experience in glass art but don't feel ready to go off onto their own, want to deepen their learning or want to work in a space dedicated to glass art with other like minded people. This is an opportunity to get together and bounce around ideas with other artists and hone your skills. Bring in a project of your choice and ask questions specific to that project. 

Get advice in topics such as pattern design, choosing complimentary glass colours and effective use of tools. 

Please keep projects under 24x24

What is included?
Chemicals, grinders, soldering irons and hand tools available for use. 

What do I bring to class?
-Closed lid water bottle and snacks
-Close toed shoes (mandatory requirement)
-Safety glasses if you have a pair
-Winter workshops dates: a pair of indoor shoes

The highlight of my week

My journey in stained glass started with the one day crash course in March 2024.
Since then I have been at the studio almost every Thursday morning.
Jessica, Sam, and Cam are always friendly and helpful.
A great place to work, learn, and share.

After completing my second stained glass project at Lucent Glass, I want to acknowledge the excellent environment provided by Jessica, and her knowledgeable staff - Jen, Sam and Cam. It is a bright, happy space to work in. Highly recommend Jessica’s classes, too.

I love this place!

I took a 5 week course, and continue to come back to work on my own projects. I love the sense of community and welcoming atmosphere. All of the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful!
