Fused Glass Christmas Ornament

I attended Lucent Glass workshop to make Christmas ornaments. I had so much fun and loved the end product. I was very proud to share my creations as Christmas gifts. It was an amazing 3 hour workshop. The instruction was excellent and by the end I felt very confident and proud of what I had created.

What an incredibly fun activity to do! We thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the kiln process to create three beautiful ornaments. Jessica was great at answering all our questions, guided us in the design and helped us choose the best glass to complement our pieces. We laughed a lot and had an overall great time. We cannot wait to see our fired pieces and look forward to participating in more workshops.

I have taken two classes here now and both have been so great, I definitely recommend them!! I took a stained glass class first and I am glad I did since it teaches a lot about the basics of glasswork and glass cutting. However, fusing and working on a stained glass creation are very different and fun in their own ways. I love the ornaments I made from this class and getting 4 ornaments out of it is SO worth it. I can't wait to have them forever :) I am sure I will be back for more classes.
