You must have basic knowledge in cutting glass & use of soldering iron beforeĀ taking thisĀ course! No exceptions.

A three week introduction to lead came! Learn about the tools used and techniques involved in lead work and how to achieve professional looking windows. The participant will learn about lead size terminology, reinforcement and making your own cement. We will create an approx. 10"x10" lead window using an eye catching star bevel cluster and stained glass.Ā 

Tools and materials included

Safety glass and close toed shoes mandatory. It's recommended you bring your own pair of glasses the studio pairs tend to be a bit scratched up. We do have safety glasses here for you though!

Level: Absolute beginner - Intermediate
Suitable for ages 18+ only since it involves working with hazardous materials

An in-depth introduction to the copper foil method of stained glass art. In this course you will learn about design, tools, supplies and how to frame a stained glass window. You have the opportunity to choose a design from our curated set of pre-drawn patterns available. The final piece is approximately 10"x10" in size.

What is included?
All tools and some materials are included in the cost of the course.Ā We will provideĀ gloves, safety glasses, aprons, and other required PPE to ensure your safety. If you would like to work with art glass styles beyond the provided options, you are welcome to at an additional cost.Ā 

What do I bring to class?
-closed lid water bottle and snacks
-close toed shoes (mandatory requirement)
-Safety glasses if you have a pair that are more comfortable for you
-For winter workshops dates: please bring a pair of indoor close toed shoes
